I did this watercolor painting for my wife. She loves autumn. She is always begging for us to go leaf-peeping, but we always miss the peak.

So, this year she took a bunch of leaves from our backyard and asked me to do a watercolor painting for her (she loves my watercolors the best). I waited too long on the first batch of leaves, so I could not do the painting - all the leaves turned dark and shrivelled. She had to go out again and pick a new batch. I did this watercolor painting right away.
